Celebrity, nebo někoho z vaší rodiny a fanoušků? A proč?
Tom: Totálně nerozumím tomu, proč by někdo měl mít tetování vašeho obličeje? Samozřejmě by to bylo něco úplně jiného s mým obličejem!
Tom: Známe všechny manýru ostatních a když jsme na turné, musíme je respektovat. Jde to takhle dobře a ceníme si jeden druhého.

At the official site of Tokio Hotel you had the chance to ask Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg your questions. We selected the best and made the band answer them…
What was your greatest experience in 2007?
Bill: The greatest experience? Oh, there were so many! The MTV awards and our final concert in Essen were surely two highlights for us.
Tom: To go back "home" to Germany, where everything started, with the MTV awards under the belt, was a great feeling. And the concert in Essen was something special!
Do you plan to release a new album this year (2008)?
Tom: We can't tell yet, but we're always creative. We collect ideas for new songs and especially Bill always comes up with some cool new lyrics and I always carry my guitar with me. We often work on songs together in hotel rooms or at the tourbus all night through. But one thing is for sure and one thing I can tell you, you won't have to wait too long!
What would it mean to you, if you're really successful in the USA?Bill:Well, we look forward to America and we're especially happy that we have this opportunity at all. We owe that to our success in Europe.
Tom: Yes, we look forward to playing on as many continents as possible. And maybe, but for now it's only a dream, we can sometime release our stuff worldwide.
Bill: I think that's the dream of every band, we'll take our chance and look forward to our US concerts and to meeting our fans in North America…
Tom: The feedback of our fans, which we know about through the internet, made us happy!
What's the advantage and disadvantage of being famous in your opinion? Would you like to be "normal" for one day, without the paparazzi and the commotion, so that you can do something without being disturbed?
Bill: There's only one thing that pisses me off: paparazzi! I really don't like them. But apart from that, I can only think of positive things. What we experience now is what we dreamt of all the time.
You got to know many people. Who do you admire most? A "celeb" or just someone of your family or friends? And why?
Tom: It's right, I got to know many people, female ones, and I was really impressed by some of them. (smiles). But there are actually more people who admire me, and I even stand on stage with three of them. (laughs).
Georg: Of course we meet many famous people at awards and parties, but you talk to them like you talk with anybody else.
Bill: I admire our families. They support us with everything we do, they respect that we're nearly only at home during holidays and they accept that we then sleep through most of the day. What we often can't believe after a concert in the tourbus - and what we admire - is the amazing cohesion between our fans, who sleep in front of the venues days before the concert, wait in front of the hotel even though it's extremely cold, it snows or rains, just to maybe get an autograph, they're unbelievable.
Tom: We have fans who are at every concert and they always make it to the front rows. Amazing!
Are you committed to what you do right now?
Bill: Of course we're committed to what we do and I believe that everyone could sense it if we wouldn't. I couldn't disguise like that. Of course there are days I'd prefer staying in bed, but it was much harder to get up for school!
Does it annoy you that everybody saw you in your bathing suits? That you can't even relax on holiday anymore?
Bill: We deliberately went to a small island at the other end of the world, but even that didn't help much. There's always someone who takes pictures. We're too tired of it to be annoyed!
With whom would you like to record a song, or do you even have an offer from an artist?
Tom: Now I'd like to complain about something, it totally sucks that Angelina Jolie can't sing. But I'd also like to teach Jessica Alba how to play the guitar! (laughs).
Bill: Our record company received many requests, until now we didn't accept anything, but it's possible that we make something together with other artists sometime. We'll see what the next album will bring. It's important that we remain true to ourselves and that it fits to us!
Gustav: I'd like to be at the studio with the Foo Fighters or Lars Ulrich of Metallica.
Do you believe in God? And what's sacred to you?
Georg: Our families are of course sacred to us! We all have a great relationship to our parents and I'd say I'd do everything for the well-being of my family. The little time we can spend with friends or family is also sacred to us, family appointments are always written down in the calendar and we do everything to keep them. From time to time one of us flies back earlier if there's a birthday or something coming up!
When goes fan love too far? Did it happen to you?
Bill: I think those stories about stalker you see in the media are sick. I think it goes too far, when you read that somebody broke in an apartement and rummaged through the personal stuff. But you can't call those people 'fans' anymore. The sickest things concerning us is that some fans got a tattoo of my face and I think one of them went to a cosmetic surgeon with a pic of me cause he wanted to have my nose.
Tom: I totally can't understand that, why should someone get a tattoo of your face? Of course it would be a completely different thing with my face!
What do you appreciate most about your bandmates?
Tom: We know all the quirks of the others and when we're on tour we have to respect those quirks. It works quite well and we appreciate that very much about each other.
Bill: I appreciate about Gustav that he has an extra bag for his socks when we're on tour, and I'd appreciate it even more, if he wouldn't take off his socks in the tourbus anymore during the "1000 hotel-tour"! (laughs)
Tom: Georg appreciates about me that I send a girl to him from time to time, but more than some talking never happens. (laughs).
Is there a song that triggers certain feelings when you play/sing it? Doesn't it bore you to play the same setlist at concerts for weeks?
Bill: Certainly not! No, every concert is different! We enjoy it to be on stage every day. Most time of the year we have promotion appointments, shootings or we're at the studio, so the tour is a great, varied time for us.
Tom: There's rather a very special feeling after the concert in my hotel room! (laughs)
Bill: I have goosebumps when we play the encore, the acoustic set, cause we're at the front of the stage and it's like a feeling of closeness and it's very intimate. "An deiner Seite" is also a special song, which is dedicated to our fans. It's always a highlight for me!
Tom: I could say something about climaxes now, but I better shut up! *
Do you know how many prizes you won worldwide until now?
Tom: By heart? One moment…
Bill: You can only count to three anyway… Well, I don't know for sure, I could tell you if I'd be at home, cause they are all in the same place.
What would you never do for money?
Tom: Watching Georg shower! (laughs)
Which songs/cds do you listen most to these days?
I currently listen to the new album of Dynamite Deluxe and I forced the whole team to buy it and listen to it too. They are all fans now, of course!
If one of you would quit the band, would you replace him or would you all quit?Tom: Well, if I would quit, it would be pointless if the others would continue. So I'll stay! (laughs)
* Tom plays with the word 'Höhepunkt'. While Bill uses 'Höhepunkt' in this context to refer to his personal highlight of the show, Tom of course refers to 'Höhepunkt' as climax in a sexual context. The word can be used for both. =D
